I’m so excited about my gifts for #TheLastJediEvent. I spotted the Star Wars confetti at my local party store and thought it might work in a resin charm. I’m so happy with how they turned out!
Star Wars-Inspired Resistance Charms
To make your own charms, you’ll need:
- Star Wars Confetti
- Resin
- Cabochon Mold
- White Acrylic Ink
- Stir Sticks
- Large Jump Rings
- Small Jewelry Drill
- Silicone Measuring Spoons (Optional)
- Clear Plastic Cups (Optional)
- Heat Tool (Optional)
I followed most of the same steps for my Pixar-inspired Luxo Ball charms, so hop over to that post for the full details. The main difference was adding in the Starbird confetti in place of the transparency printouts. The confetti packages come with First Order confetti as well, and I did try to make a few First Order charms. (They just weren’t as pretty.) I also skipped adding a gloss finish to these, since they came out relatively smooth and shiny without it.
I have tons of fun #TheLastJediEvent coverage, so make sure you follow along. You can also check out all of my past Disney gifts.
