As a Disney adult who has been on more than a few trips around the sun, I can actually remember when Disney-MGM Studios Park opened for the first time. I’ve been known to unironically call is Disney-MGM to this day, because old habits die hard. While visual reminders of the opening day park remain, the last of the original attractions, The Great Movie Ride, was decommissioned in 2017 to make way for Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway. I have no complaints about the replacement, I still miss The Great Movie Ride every time I step into Hollywood Studios. The ride is no more, but the films it featured are always ready for a rewatch. I can’t think of a better tribute, so get your popcorn ready!

Here is how you can watch every movie featured on The Great Movie Ride

Footlight Parade

Footlight Parade Poster

To catch James Cagney in this Busby Berkeley musical, you’ll have to hand over a few bucks. It’s currently only available to rent, with an average price of $2.99.

Singin’ in the Rain

Watch the iconic Gene Kelly dancing with a light pole on HBOMax.

Mary Poppins

The Walt Disney Company. All Rights Reserved.

You can catch everyone’s favorite nanny streaming on Disney+.

The Public Enemy

Get more James Cagney, this time as a gangster, on HBOMax.

Man with No Name

The Clint Eastwood section gets a bit tricky, as I don’t know if the ride ever made it clear which film from the trilogy was being featured. It’s probably just easiest to watch them all. A Fistful of Dollars and For a Few Dollars More are streaming for free on a variety of platforms including YouTube. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, however, is going to require Starz.

The Searchers

This John Wayne classic is another film that requires a rental, with an average price of $3.99.

Alien

The terrifying (to itty bitty me the first time I saw it) Sigourney Weaver classic is available on Starz, along with the full quadrilogy, if you’re so inclined.

Raiders of the Lost Ark

Catch my beloved Harrison Ford on Showtime.

Tarzan

You can enjoy Johnny Weissmuller’s classic character in Tarzan the Ape Man and Tarzan and his Mate on Hulu, but only with the Live TV upgrade.

Casablanca

Get your Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman fix on HBOMax.

Fantasia

Where else would you find this Disney classic than on Disney+?

The Wizard of Oz

There’s no place like HBOMax to watch this Judy Garland classic.
