It’s become a tradition to make a batch of hand-painted Easter eggs every year. This time, inspired by the Avatar Studios announcement, I decided to paint The Legend of Korra eggs.
The process I use for painted eggs is always the same. I sketch on the general design with a pencil.
I then put on a base coat of matte craft paint, outline with a black paint marker, then touch up. And touch up some more. Then keep touching up until I’m happy with the result.
You can catch a very sped up version of the entire process on my Instagram Reel.
And here is the final version of Korra, Mako, Bolin, Tenzin, and Naga!
