There’s always time for one more pumpkin-and this The Nightmare Before Christmas Funko Pop! Pumpkin can be ready to display in less than 30 minutes!
You’ll need a small, black diorama pumpkin, white glitter cardstock, thick black craft foam, yellow craft foam, school glue, hot glue and scissors to make your The Nightmare Before Christmas pumpkin. Oh, you’ll need Jack and Sally Pocket Pops, too!
Start by drawing the hill on a scrap piece of paper in the approximate size you need to fit inside of your pumpkin. Once you have created your pattern, flip it over and trace it on the back of the glitter cardstock. Carefully cut out the cardstock along your traced lines. You might need a craft knife to cut out the swirl at the top of the hill.
Trace your pattern on the thick black craft foam and cut it out slightly smaller than the glitter cardstock. There’s no need to cut out the full swirl this time. Glue the glittered cardstock to the craft foam.
Cut out a circle of yellow craft foam to create the moon that goes in the back of the pumpkin. I used a saucer as my pattern.
Use hot glue to attach the yellow craft foam moon to the back of the pumpkin. Once the moon is in place, use more hot glue to place your hill inside the pumpkin. You’ll also use hot glue to place your Jack and Sally Funko Pops on top of the hill. Don’t worry-when you’re finished with the pumpkin your Jack and Sally will pop right off-just peel off any extra glue that might be on their feet.
