I might be a little bit obsessed with exfoliation. I’ve paid big bucks for chemical peels and microdermabrasion in the spa. Luckily I’m able to save that money now with some DIY spa efforts at home. Here are three of my favorite exfoliators available on Amazon.
The Salux Washcloth is made from a durable nylon material. It’s similar to a shower puff, but much more exfoliating. It’s also long enough to easily use on your back. Just add a little soap and buff away in the shower. You’ll be baby soft everywhere! It’s even machine washable. Start by using a few times a week and work up to using it daily. It’s available in a variety of colors for under $10.
The Tinkle Eyebrow Razor can certainly be used as an eyebrow razor, but it’s also handy if you want to try some DIY dermaplaning. Dermaplaning is typically done by a professional using a scalpel to remove dead skin from the face. Tinkle razors have a stainless safety cover which makes it easy to do it yourself. Results are probably not as effective as a professional salon visit, but it definitely works. As a bonus, if you have a face that’s a little fuzzy, this will take care of it. (And no, it won’t grow back as stubble.) Since I’m going off label here for use, I’ll throw in a “use at your own risk, your results may vary, read all package instructions, blah, blah, blah” disclaimer. Natural Aqua Gel Cure might just be my favorite Amazon find ever. Spread the gel on your face and wait a minute or so. Gently rub in circles to remove the gel along with your dead skin. Finish by rinsing off with water and applying your favorite skin care products. I have combination skin that’s prone to having a flaky appearance in some areas. This totally takes care of that! Use it two to three times a week for some of the softest skin you’ve ever felt. Pick up a 250ml bottle of Natural Aqua Gel Cure for under $25 dollars.
