I’m so ready for Halloween! As soon as September hits, I’m itching to pull all of my decorations out of the closet. (I definitely put out a few things before October because I’m just that impatient.) I got so many new things last year that I’m trying to avoid buying too much this year. That’s why I combined some things I already had with a few new things to create this simple monster party theme.I bought this cute little cauldron for less than a dollar. A ramekin fits perfectly inside of the rim, making it the best witch-approved way to serve your veggie dip!
Any vampire would love these simple fang cupcakes. Inexpensive plastic fangs with a little red decorating gel is all it takes! Press the fangs into the cupcakes, squeeze on the decorating gel and you’re done!
Look for special mini cans of Sunkist®, A&W® Root Beer, Canada Dry®, 7UP®, Squirt® and Big Red® on your next trip to Walmart. They’re the perfect size for a treat bag or party favor. You can even download the #MiniMonsters app to watch the monsters on the can come to life!Don’t forget to serve up your Sunkist in fun beaker-themed glassware if you have any mad scientists at your party.
For decoration, drape the table with gauzy fabric and place some of your favorite Halloween items among the food and drink. Many of the things I used were already on hand, but I couldn’t resist this new skull! He just looks so happy!
Send your guests home with their own DIY mummy pumpkins! Provide mini foam pumpkins, googly eyes, glue and a little bit of muslin fabric. Rip off strips of muslin and glue them to the pumpkin. Add eyes and you’re done! It’s a party activity and a party favor all in one!
