I know a few Disney Fairies fans who wouldn’t be pleased if the princesses had all of the DIY Christmas ornament fun. A Tinker Bell-inspired ornament was definitely needed.
You’ll need a tink-green glitter ornament, iridescent cellophane and small white pompoms. Head over to my princess ornaments to find out my favorite way to make your own glitter ornaments.
To make the wings, first layer two pieces of iridescent cellophane between two pieces of parchment paper. Fuse the cellophane with a clothes iron on medium heat. This will give the cellophane a crinkly effect and it will make them more substantial when your wings are glued on the ornament.
Once you’ve fused the cellophane, use this template to cut out your wings. Attach them to the back of your ornament with hot glue.
Use more hot glue to add the two small pompoms to the front of the ornament to represent Tink’s shoes. After that she’s ready to hang on the tree!
