When I saw the Toy Story 4 teaser trailer, I knew I had some Toy Story 4 crafts to make. That said, my friend Tessa gets all the credit for suggesting I make a Forky ornament. Whos is Forky? Well, so far we don’t know much, but…

We know that Forky thinks he doesn’t belong here. Maybe that’s because he does belong on your Christmas tree?

To make your own Toy Story-inspired Forky Ornament, you’ll need:

Finding a white spork was harder than it should have been. I ended up grabbing a black one from Taco Bell and spray painting it white.

The popsicle stick feet of Forky have what looks like a rainbow sticker. I made my own by printing out a tiny rainbow, covering it with packing tape, then gluing it on the popsicle stick. I used my craft knife to “saw” the feet into shape since cutting popsicle sticks causes them to break.

Don’t let the fact that I used polymer clay here scare you off-in this case the three things you need to make are super easy. Take a little red clay and roll it around in your hands until you make the eyebrows. Take a little blue clay and repeat the same process, creating a circle for the mouth. Finally, roll a ball of white clay, then press it onto the popsicle stick feet and stick the spork inside. Carefully remove the spork and feet, then bake all of your clay according to package directions.

Once the clay has finished baking, use super glue to attach the mouth, eyebrows, and eyes. Bend your red pipe cleaner into hands, then twist it around the spork. Carefully press the spork into the clay base-it will probably take a bit of force. Then glue the feet onto the clay base. Use more glue to attach a string or ribbon to the back and your Forky is ready to hang on the tree!
