I have a bunch of friends who are totally over the Elf in their house. Finding creative ideas for your Elf On The Shelf seems so Pinterest 2011. Now it’s all about convincing your kids that the Elf can just show up in a different room the next day without needing a multi-hour staged holiday scene.
Let me give you a super quick idea to make at least one Elf move a little fun. You can make Elf Puzzles in just a few minutes with your Silhouette. 
You can use any photo, but the most fun way to do this is to take a holiday photo of your kids. If you have a snapshot, great. If you don’t, just print one out. Use your Silhouette to cut the photo into puzzle pieces. There are multiple puzzle cuts in the Silhouette store.
Use a small piece of tape to put one of the puzzle pieces in your Elf’s hand. That is it! Just a few minutes for a fun Elf surprise in the morning.
