I’m back with a twist on the classic slime recipe. Unicorn Goo has the slime you love, with the fun, tactile addition of colorful styrofoam beads.
To make your own “Unicorn Goo” slime, you’ll need:
- Water
- Clear Glue
- Borax
- Styrofoam Beads
Note: This recipe uses a very small amount (1/4 tsp) of Borax. Children should never be allowed direct contact with undiluted borax. Always monitor small children playing with slime.
Start with two bowls with a 1/4 cup of water in each. Add 1/4 cup of glue to one bowl and 1/4 teaspoon of borax to the other bowl. Stir both bowls well.
Slowly add the borax mixture to the glue mixture and stir as the slime begins to form.
You can add as many styrofoam beads as you would like to make your unicorn goo. You can add it to the glue mixture before adding the borax or you can add it to the slime once it’s already made.
The colors from the styrofoam beads will bleed a little, especially the red. Make sure you’re playing with the slime on an easy to clean surface.
