Ten Reasons To Pick The Universal Express Ticket At Universal Studios Hollywood

Thank you to Universal Studios Hollywood for providing our tickets during this trip.

I’ve been near Universal Studios Hollywood at least a dozen times without ever having the time for a visit. That finally changed during my last trip to SoCal when I hit up the park with a few friends and I finally saw what I’ve been missing all this time!

Universal Studios Hollywood

I also learned about the best way to maximize the fun on your trip: The Universal Express™ Ticket!

What is the Universal Express Ticket?

The Universal Express Ticket includes Park admission and one-time express access to each ride and attraction, along with priority seating at select shows. In a nutshell: that means less time waiting in line, more time enjoying your day at the Park!

When you enter the Park, head to the Universal Plaza Box Office. That’s where you can pick up your Universal Express Ticket or upgrade your General Admission Ticket.

When you approach attractions, look for special Univeral Express entries. They will scan your ticket and you’ll soon be enjoying the ride or show.

What Attractions Are Included with the Universal Express Ticket?

The Studio Tour

Universal Studios Hollywood’s signature attraction, the Studio Tour, takes you on a behind-the-scenes tram ride through an actual working studio. Amongst the backlot sets, you’ll also experience a variety of special effects attractions. There’s even a peek at Jaws!

Transformers: The Ride-3D

Put on a pair of 3D glasses and enjoy a ride that takes you directly into the Transformers film franchise. Don’t forget to stop by the Transformers character meet & greets located nearby. They’re some of the most entertaining in the Park!

Jurassic Park—The Ride

Hop on a boat and set sail through the world of Jurassic Park. And yes, you absolutely will get wet. You’ll want to hurry to catch this one. Jurassic Park is set for extinction on September 3, 2018. You can catch the all new Jurassic World Ride in 2019.

Revenge of the Mummy: The Ride

My absolute favorite ride at Universal Studios Hollywood, Revenge of the Mummy is not to be missed. It’s a combination enclosed roller coaster and dark ride, and although it’s thrilling, it can still be enjoyed by those who aren’t roller coaster enthusiast.

Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey

Explore Hogwarts and fly around the castle grounds in this one of a kind thrill ride. It’s the closest you can get to being a wizard when you’re really a muggle.

And ok, there’s no Express Ticket through the Butterbeer line, but after you leave Hogwarts, a frozen Butterbeer is a must.

Flight of the Hippogriff

You can, however, use your Express Ticket to hop on Flight of the Hippogriff, a fun and family-friendly roller coaster.

Despicable Me Minion Mayhem

Minions fans, rejoice. It’s your turn to become a minion yourself as you enjoy the 3D Ultra-HD adventure.

The Simpsons Ride

Enter Springfield and hop onboard The Simpsons Ride. The ride takes you on a virtual visit to Krustyland, where Sideshow Bob is ready to put an end to all of your fun.

Special Effects Show

Find out how all of that movie magic happens when you check out the Special Effects Show. The magic allows guests to participate in scenes from some of Universal’s most memorable films.

The Walking Dead

Even if you’re not a fan of the AMC show, The Walking Dead is a must for any fan of haunted houses and horror movies. You’ll feel like you’re a part of the show when you walk through the attraction.

Is that everything you can do with the Universal Express Ticket? No. But it is ten good reasons to pick it for your next visit Universal Studios Hollywood!
