On Saturday, June 2, hundreds of Universal Studios Hollywood Employee Volunteers joined together to support the 27th annual “Christmas in Spring” Philanthropic Event.

The event supports M.E.N.D. (Meet Each Need with Dignity), an organization that has touched the lives of over 16,000 family members living in poverty in the San Fernando Valley.

The day included special appearances from Santa Claus, Minions, SpongeBob, Scooby Doo, Shaggy, King Julian and Puss N’ Boots characters.

“Christmas in Spring” is sponsored by Universal Studios Hollywood and their “Discover A Star” Foundation. The Foundation provides grants to organizations helping individuals and families achieve more productive and fulfilling lives.
