Ralph Breaks The Internet is available today on Blu-ray and DVD! I’m celebrating with a super cute DIY Vanellope von Schweetz Hair Bow.
To make your own Vanellope von Schweetz Hair Bow you’ll need wide brown ribbon, mint green ribbon, candy buttons, hot glue, a twist tie and a hair clip.
Start by making a loop with the brown ribbon and using hot glue to secure the ends. Make this loop the width you want your bow to be. Repeat this process with the mint ribbon. Use a twist tie to bunch your loops together, adjusting the ribbon until you’re happy with the shape of the bow.
Cover the twist tie with a piece of mint green ribbon folded in half, securing it with hot glue. Wrap your hair clip with a piece of ribbon, using more hot glue. This will allow a stronger bond when you hot glue on the bow rather than attaching it directly to the clip.
Finish your bow by adding a candy button in the center with hot glue.
