Thank you to Walt Disney World for providing media passes during this visit.
When I planned my visit to Walt Disney World last October, I booked dinner reservations at Be Our Guest as soon as they became available. I missed the 180 day mark for my visit this May, so it took a little more effort to get a dinner reservation this time. It’s always worth it, though, to eat dinner in the Beast’s castle. Any fan of Beauty and the Beast needs to make plans to eat at Be Our Guest at least once during a visit to Walt Disney World.
You can enjoy quick service dining with advance ordering for breakfast and lunch, or table service dining for dinner. Reservations are strongly recommended. Make sure you arrive in front of the castle bridge when it’s time for your reservation. They’ll check you in and you’ll receive a text message when your table is ready. From there you’ll head to the front of the castle where a host will be waiting to usher you inside.
Walt Disney World Dining: Be Our Guest
When you walk in don’t worry that you’ll have to take everything in at once. There’s fun decor and special effects throughout the castle.
No matter where you sit for your meal, you can still take a look around the other dining rooms once you’ve finished eating.
If you’re seated in the ball room, make sure you pay attention to the ceiling murals and the snowfall outside the windows.
The gallery is another fun dining room. It includes a huge Belle and Beast music box in the center of the room.
The walls are also full of fun Beauty and the Beast-themed artwork. Each piece is worth a second look.
My favorite room is the west wing. It includes a magical changing portrait of the Prince and the famous enchanted rose. During our last visit we requested seating in the West Wing and it was available if we were willing to wait an additional 30 minutes for or table. If you have a little extra time in your schedule it’s definitely worth asking about!
Be Our Guest Dinner Menu
A dinner at Be Our Guest is full of delicious choices in starters, entrees and desserts.
I always say you can’t go wrong with a steak. Don’t be afraid to ask for substitutions. They happily served asparagus instead of green beans when asked.
Although Magic Kingdom is considered a dry park, you can order wine at Be Our Guest. If you’re having trouble deciding what to choose, they offer a wine flight that allows you to sample them all.
Save some room for dessert. They’ll roll the dessert cart to your table at the end of your meal. Pretty much anything you choose is going to be a great choice.
At least one person at the table should order The Grey Stuff. The presentation has been a little different on each visit, but the cookies and cream mousse is always delicious. The dishes can confirm this.
Of course my favorite reason to enjoy dinner at Be Our Guest is a chance to meet with the Beast before you leave. I have a few clearer photos from PhotoPass, but my favorite is this photo someone captured on my phone. We danced a little. It was absolutely magical.
